The Redwoods and Southern Oregon

Jedediah Smith Redwoods State park near Crescent City, CA.    Great place to play hide and seek.

Lots of room to park along the state park road.

Feeling really small.

Dry camped at Port Orford, OR on the way to the Redwoods.  We were right next to the ocean, the view was incredible.  Interesting how loud the ocean was, in the RV through the night.

On the Smith River near Crescent City.  Reportedly one of the most pristine rivers in America.  We camped at Big Flat Campground nearby.

Collier Memorial State Park.  Spring Creek feeding into the Williamson River, gorgeous crystal clear water.  The park featured an outdoor logging equipment museum which was quite large and informative.  Interesting to learn how the logger teams were fed, housed, paid, etc.

Train Mountain Railroad Museum in Chiloquin, Oregon.  World's largest 7.5 inch railway... a big playground for grown men.
