The day has finally arrived! We are so excited to start this grand adventure. We packed what we thought was essential for our long trip including bringing our Double Doodle Nika, an inflatable kayak, bikes, telescope and of course a DRONE. We are leaving our family and friends (Kalaya being the hardest), and taking our 26 ft Winnebago Outlook to the great North West. It is our plan to reconnect with distant relatives, build community relationships across America and grow closer together as newlyweds. (this is our honeymoon as well) We are praying that God will guide us and use us along the way and that we are faithful to his calling. Let's do this!
Our kids along with Joe, Roberta, Sheri, Jared and Papa gave us a great 4th of July retirement/adventure send-off. Special thanks to Steph, our party planner, for the Happy Camper theme... the decorations, smores, cake and blueberry pies were awesome!!!
