Yellowstone National Park

If you haven't been to Yellowstone National Park yet,  you just got to go.  The diversity here is crazy.  From all of the thermal activity to the awe inspiring colorful canyons and mountains to the giant water falls to the large animal abundance. (moose, bison, black and grizzly bears, deer, etc..)    It's a big park.   The fun part for us  is when you dodge all of the tour buses and "drive by" picture takers and get off the beaten path and make our own adventure.
Boiling water and lots of steam on the edge of the Yellowstone Lake.
We watched this large grizzly bear from a safe distance for a while.  We have a sighting telescope with tripod that makes it kinda fun as well.  (we let everyone interested around us look as well.... with the kids getting their first glimpse being the funnest part).
Just wouldn't be right if we didn't include "Old Faithful".    Kinda a "have to" stop...  goes off every 60-90 minutes..   Mark was wondering what happens at night when all of the tourist are gone....
Beautiful blue colors in many of these hot boiling springs.

This canyon is titled Artist Point.    It is hard to see with a photo, but the different shades of reds, yellows, etc.. are amazing.
A LOT of water is moving thru these falls.   Que the thunderous roaring audio please...
Had to pull off and try to capture this rock formation on each side of the road.   Really gets your attention - huge white white rocks piled randomly high up next to the road.
Enjoying a boardwalk trail on one of the many rivers just below a water fall.

Crazy  thermal activity all over Yellowstone.
